- The Bhaktivedanta College of Education and Culture [BCEC] was founded in July 1991 in Durban, South Africa. HH Bhakti Brhat Bhagavata Swami - then known as HG Brhat-mrdanga dasa formed the BCEC under the instructions and guidance of HH Giriraj Swami. The college is a forum to discuss and relish the translations and purport of the books of His Divine Grace A.C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada.
